HISTORY
One of the earliest Specials Department products was the Railways cup with a large NZR imprinted on the side. Now very rare, these 1940’s cups were made from an early yellow body, and lacked handles because the fledgling company could not work out how to attach them. The later, now classic, vitrified railway cup was made from the 1950’s to probably the 1970’s.
