Worm Hole

$4,900.00

(900mm x 900mm)

‘Worm Hole’ is an imagined piece with again links to ‘A Hitchhiker’s Guide’ and ‘Matea Road’. Deep sea creatures have been sucked into outer space through a water spout and on the way pick up bats and the last huia. They then travel through a worm hole to where they are suspended in time and space on the edge of an event horizon. In the background is the Matariki star system. Perhaps this huia will one day be found and its extinction will be reversed. I was struck by how at home undersea creatures look in outer space.
